We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative and Driver to join our team.

Role Overview:

As a Warehouse Operative and Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery process. You will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring deliveries are made on time to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operative Duties:

• Assist in the loading and unloading of goods in the warehouse.
• Organize and store products in the warehouse, ensuring stock is stored safely and efficiently.
• Pick and pack orders as per customer requirements, ensuring accuracy.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools (training will be provided).
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized at all times.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.

Driver Duties:

• Safely drive company vehicles to deliver goods to customers on time.
• Ensure all deliveries are carried out in a professional manner, with a focus on customer service.
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring goods are properly secured during transportation.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and report any issues such as delays, damaged goods, or customer complaints.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and inspected.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• A valid full Irish driving license (manual) is essential.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or driving role is preferred but not essential.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and driving best practices.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues.

Desirable:

• Forklift license (or willingness to undertake training).
• Experience with delivery routes and navigation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
